"Sebastian" A Poem

Sebastian

I renamed you Sebastian,
majestic and revered, it fits you to a tee.
Yes, Raven's obsidian son you are,
elegant and powerful for all to see.

Thee of swift and graceful agility;
born Falcon, I can see why.
In Ludse's image freedom continues to soar
on wings of strength, a poetic vision floating by.

Nice photo, he is a very nice looking horse good name too, do you have stable names for your horses or do you always call out the full name to them, just wondering as all mine have them, like Tipper’s real name is Bold Hawk but we call him Tipper for a shorter name.
Regards
Edward

Wow! Your boy is so regal. Very beautiful! What are you planning for him? Dressage? Jumping? Trail riding? When I look at this photo of him, I imagine his Owner to have lots of dreams of the future! I'm thrilled to be following your journey with Margaret!

Edward - "Sebastian" is what I call him... I'm not really a nick name gal... I've always been called Margaret... but my huband IS a nickname person... funny how opposites attract :) ... it was certainly "fun" picking out 6 children's names with him ha!

Deanna - Trial riding for SURE, and we will see what else transpires. I do have an english, dressage and western saddle (even a bareback saddle pad), so we will see what develops!

Thanks everyone, for your kind comments!

Margaret, what beautiful poetry and so fitting for him. I love his name;it really does suit him very well. He is very lovely and looks much like his father. You will have to check out our new boy, Jackson. I did a post this week on him with our pictures we sent in to Devon for the contest.

He's such a looker! His name fits him well too.

Frisians are so royal and kind. I boarded once with a friend that had 4 of them . Tried to ride het favorite once Dolce'. His trot almost lifted me Into the rafters.
You are so fortunate to have him and others!
